Rustic potatoes are a simple and beloved dish by many. It turns out especially tasty if you cook it on lard. An amazing aroma appears, the crust becomes even more crispy. Be sure to serve hot.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel and cut into slices.

Blot the potato pieces with a paper towel and put them in a bowl.

Add salt, oregano and mix.

Heat half of the lard in a frying pan and lay out the potatoes. Fry for 15 minutes, stirring gently every 5 minutes.

Add the remaining lard and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Do not forget to stir, otherwise the potatoes will burn.
