I suggest cooking delicious cabbage rolls in spicy gravy. The recipe is not complicated, but time-consuming. From the specified amount of pepper, a moderately hot dish is obtained, but you can adjust it to your liking!

- Cabbage (white) – 1 head
- Chili pepper - 1 pod
- Tomato sauce - 200 ml
- Meat broth - 800 ml
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Minced pork - 350 g
- Fig - 150 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Make deep incisions in the cabbage and remove the stalk. Place the cabbage in a pot of boiling water.
From time to time, carefully remove the cabbage from the pan and remove the finished leaves. Repeat the steps until you remove all suitable leaves.
Rinse the rice under running water, pour boiling water and cover for 15 minutes.
Chop onion, chili pepper and dill, grate carrots on a coarse grater.
Heat oil in a frying pan, add onions, carrots and fry until golden brown.
Select part of the roast for the filling, add tomato sauce, 200 ml of broth, chopped chili pepper and bay leaf to the rest. Boil for 10 minutes and turn off.
Mix the minced meat, roast, egg, rice, salt and ground black pepper. Mix the filling with your hands until smooth.
Put some minced meat on the edge of the cabbage leaf and roll it into an envelope. Repeat the same with the rest of the leaves.
Place cabbage leaves on the bottom of the pan, lay cabbage rolls on top in loose rows.
Pour in the boiling broth, tomato roast, salt and simmer for 50 minutes over low heat.
