Ingredients
- Chokeberry - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
- Cherry leaves - 150-200 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour water over the cherry leaves. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and leave to infuse overnight.
Bring to a boil again and add rowan and citric acid.
Bring to a boil again, remove from heat and let it brew for a day.
Strain the broth, add sugar, boil it until thick on low heat and roll it into sterile jars.
