- Gooseberry - 2 kg
- Sugar - 2,5 kg
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the gooseberries and clean them from the tails. Pierce each berry at the base.
In a deep saucepan, boil the syrup from sugar and water for 2 minutes.
Add gooseberries and boil for 10 minutes.
Remove the berries with a slotted spoon and leave in a separate bowl to cool.
Boil the syrup for 5 minutes, add the berries and boil for another 5 minutes.
Repeat the procedure with berries again.
Boil the syrup for the third time for 3-5 minutes, add the berries and cook for 5 minutes.
Put the hot jam in the prepared container, cover with lids and wrap with a warm blanket.
