Amber jam got its romantic name for its bright orange hue. It is given by sugar and the correct cooking technology, which I will tell you more about later in the recipe. Today we will prepare such jam from ripe garden apricots.

Remove the seeds from the apricots and cut the halves into slices.

Boil water with sugar and boil the syrup for 5 minutes.

Put the apricots in it, bring it to a boil again and boil for another 5 minutes.

Let the workpiece cool down, bring it to a boil again and boil for 5 minutes.

Repeat this step 1-2 more times, according to the consistency of the jam.

Roll the amber jam into sterilized jars.
