It is simply impossible to resist the sweet and incredibly fragrant jam from wild strawberries. It is enough to open the jar, and now the household themselves converge on the smell. But strawberries are a very delicate berry, so you need to work with it carefully.
Ingredients
- Strawberries (lesnaya) – 4 kg
- Sugar - 4 kg
- Citric acid - 8 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Go through the strawberries and remove all the leaves and debris. Rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
Put the strawberries in the basin in layers, sprinkling with layers of sugar. Leave it on for 2-3 hours.
Stir the berry and boil over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
Turn up the heat and bring the jam to a boil. Stir again and bring to a boil again. And so one more time. At the end, add citric acid.
Roll the wild strawberry jam into sterile jars.
