In order for my favorite plum jam not to be too sweet and cloying, I like to add a little citrus notes to it. For example, an orange is perfect. Today I will tell you how to easily and quickly prepare such a jam without seeds and just without extra effort.
Ingredients
- Plums - 1 kg
- Orange - 1 piece
- Sugar - 800 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Carnation (ground) – 2 pinches
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the plums and cut the fruit into slices.
Add orange juice and a little zest.
Cover with sugar, bring to a boil and boil the jam for half an hour on low heat.
In the middle of the process, add spices and citric acid.
Arrange the jam in clean, dry jars.
