The easiest and most everyday way to cook mackerel is to bake it with onions. You don't even need to go to the store or plan your shopping list in advance. This recipe contains only what you probably already have at home. Lovers of simple and concise dishes will like it!

Ingredients

  • Mackerel - 5 pieces
  • Olive oil - 2-3 art.l.
  • Spices and seasonings (for fish) – 5 tsp.
  • Onion - 3-4 pieces

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel and gut the mackerel, rub with spices and drizzle with oil.

Finely chop the onion. Put part of it in a mold or on a baking sheet, and part of it inside the fish.

Place the mackerel on an onion cushion and bake for about 40 minutes at 190 degrees.
