Continuing the theme of fragrant dishes on the campfire, I want to share with you a wonderful recipe for turkey kebab in kefir. Under the influence of a lactic acidic environment, the meat softens quickly. For this reason, I do not advise marinating it longer than the specified time.
Ingredients
- Turkey (fillet) – 1 kg
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Provencal herbs - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the turkey fillet into small cubes and put it in a bowl.
Add salt, spices, kefir and mix well.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10-12 hours.
Remove the meat from the refrigerator and warm it at room temperature for 1 hour.
Put the turkey pieces on the prepared skewers and fry for 15-20 minutes on the grill over gray coals.
