Delicious and flavorful pork ribs are incredibly popular in Canadian cuisine. And today I will tell you how to cook them properly, taking into account local regional traditions. A great alternative to more familiar recipes!
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 400 g
- Applesauce - 100 g
- Ketchup - 50 g
- Brown Sugar - 3 tbsp.l .
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l.
- Soy sauce - 3 tbsp.l.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Garlic (powder) – 0.5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Ground cinnamon - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix all the ingredients except the ribs into the sauce.
Cut the ribs themselves into portions, boil for 15 minutes and then marinate in the sauce for half an hour.
Put them on a baking sheet on parchment and bake for an hour under foil at 200 degrees in the oven.
As the juice is released, drain it and lubricate the ribs with sauce every 20-30 minutes.
40 minutes after the start of baking, remove the foil.
