Cooking soups with beef is not difficult. Of course, they have to cook for a long time, but in general the process is simple. Try my favorite soup recipe with millet and green peas. A thick and hearty dish is especially suitable for the cold season.
Ingredients
- Beef (fillet) – 400 g
- Millet - 100 g
- Potatoes - 250 g
- Tomatoes - 150 g
- Green peas (canned) – half a can
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt (without slide) – 2 tsp.
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the beef, cut into small cubes and put it in a saucepan.
Add bay leaf, cold water and cook for 1 hour after boiling.
Chop tomatoes and peeled potatoes.
Pour potatoes and washed millet into a saucepan with meat. Cook for 15 minutes.
Add green peas, tomatoes and cook for another 10 minutes.
Add salt, remove from heat and leave under the lid for 10-15 minutes. During this time, the soup will infuse and become even tastier.
