The secret of this homemade pea soup is in a set of herbs and spices, and which I will tell you further in the recipe. Otherwise, this is a classic recipe for chicken. I am sure that such a dish should definitely be in the arsenal of every housewife.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Peas (stabbed) – 200 g
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Zira - 0.5 tsp.
- Cumin - 0.5 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the chicken with water, boil until tender, remove and slice.
Soak the peas in advance for a couple of hours. Add it to the boiling broth and cook for 40 minutes.
During this time, cut the vegetables into medium pieces. Add to the soup and cook for another 20 minutes.
5-7 minutes before the end, return the chicken back and add all the spices with salt.
