You can make a very tasty soup from pork knuckle. It will take a long time to cook it, but the result will meet all expectations. I add hot red pepper and fresh tomatoes to the soup. They make the taste of the dish richer and more diverse.
Ingredients
- Pork Knuckle - 1 kg
- Tomatoes - 200 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Parsley root - 1 piece
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Salt - to taste
- Water (purified) – 5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the knuckle, cut into large pieces and boil for 10 minutes after boiling.
Change the water, add bay leaf, black pepper, peeled parsley root and onion. Cook for 2 hours on very low heat. After that, the parsley root and onion should be discarded.
Add hot pepper, chopped tomatoes and crushed garlic cloves with a knife handle. Cook for another 30 minutes.
Add salt and turn off the heat.
