A couple of jars of thick cherry jam constantly help me out during the season. Sometimes I wanted to bake pies, make pancakes, or just want something delicious for tea. Cherry jam will be useful in any of these cases.
Ingredients
- Cherry - 1.5 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the stones from the cherry and pass the berry through a meat grinder.
Add sugar and bring the mass to a boil.
Cook the jam for about an hour on low heat, stirring occasionally.
Roll it up for the winter in sterile jars.
