Pickled forest mushrooms are an exclusive preparation and decoration of any festive table. Today I will tell you a recipe for delicious pickled honey mushrooms with garlic. Serve the mushrooms to the table with fragrant vegetable oil, onions and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • Honeydew - 1 kg
  • Garlic - 20 g
  • Bay leaf - 1 pcs.
  • Black Pepper (peas) – 10 pcs.
  • Carnation - 5 pcs.
  • Water - 1 l
  • Vinegar (9%) – 100 ml
  • Sugar - 1 art.l.
  • Salt - 1,5 tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sort out the oil, clean it from sand and forest debris, rinse it under running water several times.

Boil the mushrooms over medium heat for 20 minutes after boiling, removing the foam. Then discard the finished honey mushrooms in a colander and rinse again under running water.

Prepare the marinade: in 1 liter of water, add salt, sugar, bay leaf, pepper, cloves, peeled and sliced garlic, add vinegar. Stir and bring to a boil over high heat.

Put the boiled honey mushrooms in the boiling marinade and boil over medium heat for 15-20 minutes after boiling.

Using a slotted spoon, fill pre-sterilized jars with hot mushrooms and pour boiling marinade to the top of the jars. Close the jars tightly and cool at room temperature. Store the cooled pickled honey mushrooms in a cool dark place.
