In addition to the usual pickles, be sure to cook cherry tomatoes in their own juice for the winter. This is a very tasty and convenient preparation. Serve the vegetables as a snack, and use the filling to make sauces, soups and many other dishes.

Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes - 4 kg
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Black Pepper - 4 peas
  • Vinegar - 60 ml
  • Sugar - 4 art.l.
  • Salt - 1,5 tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pass half of the tomatoes through a juicer.

Mix the resulting juice with sugar, salt and bring to a boil over low heat.

Add black pepper, bay leaf and boil for 5 minutes.

Place the remaining tomatoes in prepared jars.

Pour boiling juice and sterilize for 10 minutes.

Pour vinegar into each jar, roll it up and turn it upside down.
