“White filling" is a delicious early variety of apples, which has only one drawback: these apples are poorly stored. Therefore, experienced housewives try to process the harvest quickly. Today I will share with you one of the recipes for delicious jam made from apples of this variety.

Ingredients

  • Apples (White filling) – 500 g
  • Sugar - 500 g
  • Vinegar (9%) – 25 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the apples, peel and core, cut the pulp into medium slices.

Cover the prepared apples with sugar. Gently mix and leave the workpiece for 30 minutes to form juice.

Add vinegar.

Put the workpiece on the fire, bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and boil the jam for 10 minutes. Remove the workpiece from the heat and leave for a day.

Repeat the cooking procedure the next day. Apple slices should absorb sugar syrup and become transparent. If this does not happen, leave the jam for another day, and then boil it again.

Pack the boiling jam in pre-sterilized jars and roll it up.
