I love meat with berry sauces. I have a lot of favorite recipes from a wide variety of types of berries, and this time I will share with you a variant of black currant. There is a lot of garlic in this sauce, so it turns out to be incredibly fragrant and spicy.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 1 glass
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Honey - 3 tbsp.l .
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Thyme - 2 pinches
- Nutmeg - 2 pinches
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the currants with a blender.
Separately chop the garlic and lightly fry in a small amount of oil.
Add the currants, bring to a boil and add all the spices.
Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes.
Add honey and vinegar, mix the sauce and roll it into a sterilized jar.
