If you decide to engage in harvesting for the winter, do not forget about the cherry plum compote. It is prepared simply and perfectly stored even at room temperature. You can not take out the bones, just put the fruit in jars and pour boiling water twice.

Ingredients

  • Cherry Plum - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 300 g
  • Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water (filtered) – 6 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the cherry plum and put it in prepared jars.

Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave to warm up for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, citric acid and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour the boiling syrup into jars, roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a blanket.
