I have tried many apple jam recipes, and in my opinion this is one of the most successful. It is quite thick, but at the same time not quite homogeneous, with the texture of apple pulp. Perfectly complements pancakes and cheesecakes.
Ingredients
- Apples - 1.5 kg
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Sugar - 700 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tbsp.l .
- Star anise (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
- Carnation (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the apples, cut into small cubes, cover with sugar and cook on low heat for about an hour.
Add all the spices and lemon juice, boil for a couple more minutes.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
