Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Carrots - 150 g
- Onion - 1 pcs.
- Hot red pepper - 1 pcs.
- Garlic - 1 head
- Greenery - to taste
- Spices and seasonings (for Korean carrots) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Vinegar (9%) – 35 ml
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the tomatoes and cut into slices.
Peel and slice the onion. Grate the carrots on a grater for Korean carrots. Finely chop the hot pepper.
Combine the vegetables in a bowl. Add chopped garlic, chopped herbs, salt, sugar, vinegar and seasoning for Korean carrots. Mix everything well, cover the salad bowl with a lid and leave for 30 minutes to form juice.
Pack the salad together with the marinade in pre-sterilized jars.
Cover the salad jars with sterile lids and send them to be sterilized in a saucepan with water (for half-liter cans, the sterilization time is 15 minutes from the moment the water boils in the pan).
After sterilization, roll up the jars, turn them upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Store the cooled tomatoes in Korean in a cool, dark place.
