There are many different jam recipes in my cookbook, including from apples. One of the favorites of our family is this jam "Serenade". And what makes it so special and how to cook it properly – I'll tell you further in the recipe. I strongly advise you to try it!
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Squeeze the citrus juice, add sugar to it and bring to a boil.
Boil the syrup until the sugar dissolves and add the zest to taste.
Boil the syrup for another 7-10 minutes on low heat, stirring.
Leave it to infuse for 5 hours. Remove the zest.
Randomly slice the apples and put them in the syrup.
Bring it to a boil and cook the jam for 40 minutes on low heat.
Pour it into sterilized jars and roll it up.
