On the one hand, well, what else can surprise canned cucumbers. On the other hand, it's actually quite easy to diversify them – it's enough to add something new to the jars. For example, here is a variant of cucumbers with rowan.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 1 kg
- Mountain Ash - 2 handfuls
- Dill - 2 umbrella
- Currant leaves - 2 pieces
- Cherry leaves - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 4 teeth
- Allspice - 1 tsp.
- Carnation - 4 bud
- Water - 1 l
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pre-soak cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water.
Put cucumbers, rowan and all additives in clean jars.
Pour boiling water and leave to cool under the lid. Drain this water.
Boil clean water with sugar and salt.
Add vinegar to it, pour cucumbers and roll up for the winter.
