Ingredients

  • Honeydew - 3 kg
  • Garlic - 5 teeth
  • Black Pepper - 10 peas
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Salt - 100 g
  • Vinegar - 120 ml
  • Tomato sauce - 1 l
  • Water - 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse the honeydew, pour cold water and boil for 20 minutes.

Put the mushrooms in a colander and leave to drain.

In a deep cauldron, mix tomato sauce, water, spices, sugar and salt. Bring the mass to a boil.

Add honeydew and garlic passed through the press. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Pour in the vinegar, mix and arrange in jars. Roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a thick towel.
