There are a million ways to preserve cucumbers for the winter. One of the most original is to roll them into jars with thin plates. It turns out a very unusual and beautiful snack. And for slicing, use a vegetable peeler or a special shredder.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 1.5 kg
- Water - 500 ml
- Sugar - 30 g
- Salt - 40 g
- Grainy mustard - 20 g
- Allspice (with peas) – 20 g
- Turmeric - 15 g
- Vinegar - 70 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the cucumbers into plates and put them in sterilized jars.
Boil water with all spices, add vinegar and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour the marinade over the cucumbers and cover with lids.
Put the jars in a saucepan with water and cook for about 10 minutes.
Roll up the cans.
