Self-prepared mushrooms are always tastier than any store-bought ones. This applies to everything from champignons to some outlandish species. This also applies to chanterelles. And how to prepare them yourself at home – read on in the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Chanterelles - 1.5 kg
  • Salt - 3 art.l.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Water - 1 l
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Ground black pepper - 6 peas
  • Vinegar - 3 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sort the chanterelles and boil in water with a spoonful of salt for about 20 minutes.

Put them in a colander and rinse.

Boil a liter of water with all the remaining ingredients.

Put the chanterelles in the marinade, bring to a boil again and boil for about 25 minutes on low heat.

Pour in the vinegar, boil for another 2 minutes and roll the chanterelles into sterile jars.
