Did you know that cherry jam can be made not only from halves, but also with a stone? Of course, then it is unlikely to fit into the filling for pies, but it will remain a wonderful independent treat for tea. And what a time saver!
Ingredients
- Cherries - 1.2 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the cherries, cover with sugar and leave overnight.
Bring the billet to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
Let the mass cool completely and boil again for 5 minutes after boiling.
Repeat the previous step 1-2 more times, according to consistency.
After the last cooking, immediately roll the hot jam into sterile jars.
