Many of us are well acquainted with such a popular dish as lagman. Turkestan is considered to be his homeland, but now delicious soup is prepared in different parts of the world. Despite this, the Uzbek version of Lagman is the most popular.
Ingredients
- Beef (fillet) – 450 g
- Noodles - 250 g
- Radish - 200 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Tomato paste - 3 art.l.
- Dry adjika - 1 tbsp.l.
- Zira - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Water (filtered) – 1,5 l
- Green onion - 3 of the stem
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop beef, peeled radish, carrot, bell pepper and onion.
Chop the hot red pepper together with the seeds.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep cauldron. Pour in the beef and fry until golden brown on all sides.
Add onion and carrot, cumin, ground coriander and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Add radish, bell pepper and fry for another 5 minutes.
Add tomato paste, dry adjika, salt and hot water. Cover and simmer all together for 45 minutes.
Separately boil the noodles until tender, flip them into a colander and rinse.
Put noodles on a plate, add soup with meat, sprinkle with chopped green onions and hot red pepper.
