Ingredients

  • Cabbage - 1 kg
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
  • Water - 1 l
  • Vegetable oil - 70 ml
  • Vinegar (9%) – 50 ml
  • Black Pepper (with peas) – 10 pcs.
  • Carnation - 10 pcs.
  • Salt - 2 art.l.
  • Sugar - 70 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Chop the cabbage and remember a little with your hands. Peel the carrots, grate them on a coarse grater. Chop the garlic.

Place the prepared vegetables in a pickling container, mix well, add cloves, peppers and bay leaf.

Combine water, salt and sugar in a saucepan, bring the marinade to a boil, boil for 5-7 minutes and remove from heat.

Add vinegar and vegetable oil to the boiling marinade, stir and cool slightly.

Pour the slightly cooled marinade over the cabbage. Put the oppression and send the container with the workpiece to a cold place for a day. The cabbage will be ready in a day. You can put it in clean jars and send it to the refrigerator for storage.
