I always keep a couple of jars of mushroom blanks in the closet. What could be more convenient in case of a visit by guests or if you just want a variety? One of my family's favorite recipes is this caviar from champignons. And today I want to tell you how to cook it.
Ingredients
- Champignons - 2 kg
- Carrots - 400 g
- Onion - 400 g
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 glass
- Bay leaf - 5 pieces
- Vinegar - 1 art.l.
- Black Pepper - 10 peas
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the champignons and boil them for 20 minutes after boiling. Put it through a meat grinder.
Peel the tomatoes and also pass through a meat grinder.
Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots, and fry them until soft.
Mix everything together, add the remaining oil, salt and spices, and simmer for 2 hours on low heat.
10 minutes before the end, add crushed garlic and vinegar.
Roll the caviar from the champignons into sterile jars.
