Crispy pickled cucumbers with apple cider vinegar for winter in jars
20 min.
20 servings
Every year the notebook is updated with new recipes. Last season I discovered a wonderful way to cook crispy pickled cucumbers with apple cider vinegar for the winter. With such an additive, vegetables turn out to be less acidic.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 5 kg
- Apple cider vinegar - 180 ml
- Dill - 50 g
- Currant leaves - 6 pieces
- Cherry leaves - 6 pieces
- Sugar - 150 g
- Salt - 150 g
- Water - 4,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put dill, currant leaves and cherries in jars.
Tamp the cucumbers tightly. Cut large specimens.
Pour boiling water to the top and leave under the lids for 30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil again and pour it into jars.
Once again drain the water into a saucepan, mix with sugar, salt and boil for 2 minutes.
Add apple cider vinegar, remove from heat and pour into jars with cucumbers.
Roll it up, turn it upside down and leave it warm for a day.
