Salads for winter made from fresh vegetables retain all their useful properties, which is especially important for maintaining immunity in winter. And it's just an excellent variety of daily diet. That's why I love original preparations, like this red cabbage salad.
Ingredients
- Red cabbage - 1 kg
- Cauliflower - 1 head
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Bell pepper - 2 pieces
- Greenery - 1 bundle
- Garlic - 1 head
- Salt - 20 g
- Sugar - 30 g
- Vinegar - 40 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the cauliflower inflorescences for 5 minutes in boiling water.
Chop the remaining vegetables, garlic and herbs. Put them in sterilized jars.
Pour boiling water and leave under the lids for 10 minutes.
Drain this water, boil it again and pour it for another 10 minutes.
Drain this water again, add salt, sugar and vinegar, and bring to a boil.
Fill the salad with marinade and roll it up for the winter.
