I want to share a recipe for a unique “dry” apple jam. Baked and oven-dried apple slices taste like real jam. Such a treat in winter flies away instantly! In a family where there are children, such a billet must necessarily be!

Wash the apples, peel the cores, cut into thin slices.

Place the apple slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and citric acid and bake in a preheated 200 °C oven for 25 minutes.

Then reduce the oven heating to 60-70 ° C and dry the apples with the oven door ajar for 4-6 hours (you can also use an electric dryer).

Put the finished apple slices into sterile jars and twist. I recommend storing “dry” apple jam in the refrigerator.
