Nuts in jam are a godsend if you add them correctly. Firstly, they turn a simple billet into a full-fledged dessert. Secondly, it's just very tasty and original. Here is one of my favorites – peach jam with almonds.
Ingredients
- Peaches - 600 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Almonds (cleared) – 100 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the peaches in boiling water for a couple of minutes, peel, remove the seeds and cut into slices.
Cover with sugar and leave for 2-3 hours.
Bring to a boil and add cinnamon and almonds.
Boil the jam for 15 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
