Green pepper lecho with tomato paste for winter

This lecho recipe is a great solution for winter when fresh vegetables are not so easy to find. I like to use green pepper and tomato paste to add brightness to this dish. Such lecho can be used as a side dish, and also suitable for stews, soups, and even pizza and sandwiches.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper (green) – 2 kg
- Tomato paste - 200 g
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Vinegar - 50 ml
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- Black Pepper - 10 peas
- Salt - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix a liter of water, tomato, sugar, salt, vinegar, bay leaf and spices to taste.
Bring the marinade to a boil.
Put the green pepper cut into strips there.
Bring to a boil again and cook the lecho for 20 minutes.
Pour it into sterile jars, sterilize for another 10 minutes and roll it up.
