For this recipe, I use chopped dried peas, because it is easier and faster to boil. But any one will do – just then follow the instructions on the package. Bacon gives the dish a unique flavor and spicy notes in taste.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse and soak the peas for a couple of hours. Rinse again and boil in meat broth until soft.
Fry the bacon strips and transfer to a napkin.
Fry the chopped onion with grated carrots in the same pan.
Send the roast to the peas and chop everything with a blender. Season and stir.
Season the soup with crushed garlic and add strips of bacon.
