Classic Georgian sauces are good for their versatility and at the same time variety. Satsebeli alone can be cooked in dozens of different variations. For example, here is a recipe of tomatoes, pepper and garlic. Also for canning for the winter.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Garlic - 1-2 heads
- Bell pepper - 400 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Coriander - 1 tsp.
- Parsley - 50 g
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the tomatoes in a blender.
Separately chop both types of pepper, garlic and parsley.
Mix everything together, bring to a boil and boil for 40 minutes on low heat.
Add sugar, salt and spices, and boil the satsebeli for another 20-30 minutes until thick.
Roll the sauce into sterile jars.
