Ingredients
- Sprat - 1 kg
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Carrots - 500 g
- Onion - 300 g
- Bell pepper - 300 g
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Vinegar - 30 ml
- Sugar - 40 g
- Salt - 30 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put all the vegetables through a meat grinder and cook for half an hour on low heat.
Add the washed sprat and simmer for another 1.5 hours.
Add oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.
Simmer for another 10 minutes and roll the canned sprat into sterile jars.
