The classic mother-in-law's tongue is prepared from eggplant, but this is not a reason to abandon experiments or change your preferences. A popular winter snack can also be made from zucchini. For example, with tomatoes and pepper.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the zucchini into arbitrary medium-sized pieces.

Pass both types of peppers and peeled tomatoes through a meat grinder. Add butter, sugar and salt.

Bring the tomato mass to a boil and boil for 20 minutes.

Lay out the zucchini and boil for another 30 minutes.

Add vinegar and crushed garlic, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Roll the salad into sterile jars.
