If you prefer the thickest jam possible, then you know for sure that it takes a long time to boil it. But there is a simpler and more practical solution to the problem. You can just add a little agar-agar. Moreover, it is a completely natural thickener, and even of vegetable origin.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pour boiling water over the peaches for a minute. Peel off the skin, remove the bones and randomly slice.

Add water and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.

Pour agar-agar into the jam, stirring.

Boil it for another 3 minutes and roll it into sterilized jars.
