Pear jam with ginger is an unusual combination that is worth trying. I add spices like cinnamon and cloves to it to add extra flavor, as well as a little lemon juice to keep the color bright.
Ingredients
- Pear - 1 kg
- Ginger - 2-3 see
- Sugar - 800 g
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Carnation (ground) – 2 pinches
- Ground cinnamon - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and finely chop the pear. Cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Add grated ginger, lemon juice, zest to taste and all spices.
Bring the billet to a boil and cook the jam for 30 minutes on low heat.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
