One of the most original preparations in my cookbook is this extraordinary sorrel jam. It turns out much better than it might seem at first glance. Oxalic acid is perfectly combined with the sweetness of sugar.
Ingredients
- Sorrel - 200 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Water - 3 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse and slice the sorrel.
Mix it with sugar and water.
Bring to a boil and cook for 20-30 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
