Another excellent, but not the most obvious combination of berries for winter preparations is gooseberries with red currants. There is a pleasant sourness, and a rich taste in general, and just a bright appetizing shade. I'm telling you more!
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 250 g
- Red currant - 250 g
- Water - 2.5 l
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the gooseberries and red currants, and put them in a jar.
Boil water with sugar, and pour the berries. Leave for 10 minutes under the lid.
Drain the syrup and boil again. Add lemon juice, pour in the berries again and roll up.
