Housewives know the recipe for their ideal universal marinade for their favorite preparations. And what if we depart a little from the traditional recipe and preserve green peas in a spicy marinade with spices? Let's experiment, it's not difficult at all!

Let's start by preparing the filling - the same traditional marinade. To do this, bring the water to a boil, add salt and sugar, boil, stirring, for a few minutes until they completely dissolve.

At the bottom of the sterilized jars, put both types of peppers, cardamom, cinnamon, clove buds and bay leaf.

Now it's the turn of the main ingredient, namely green peas. It needs to be blanched in advance. Put the prepared peas in jars on top of the dry spices, add garlic and chopped carrots. Pour 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar into each jar, then pour our boiling brine and cover with clean lids.

Sterilize the jars with the workpiece in a water bath for 20-40 minutes, then roll up, turn upside down, wrap up and let cool completely. Store canned peas in such an unusual way in a cool dark place. Use the blank as an independent dish or as a ready-made ingredient for your favorite salads and entrees.
