Many people do not like vinegar and therefore prefer salting vegetables. You can cook anything like that. A classic example would be pickles with tomatoes. In my family, they just love them, so I have to cook a lot.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put currant and cherry leaves, spices, peeled garlic cloves in jars.

Lay the cucumbers tightly, top up the jars with tomatoes.

Mix water with salt and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour boiling brine into jars with vegetables and put aside for 2-3 days.

Drain the brine into a saucepan, boil for 2 minutes and pour it back into the jars.

Roll up, turn upside down and wrap up with a thick towel.
