To diversify the pea soup, it is enough to change or add several ingredients. For example, I offer one of my favorite options – with leeks and ordinary white cabbage.

Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the chicken with water and boil until tender.
Add the washed crushed peas and cook for 15 minutes.
Cut potatoes into cubes, carrots into strips, leeks into rings and chop cabbage.
Put all the vegetables in the soup and cook together for another 20 minutes.
Add the soup, add crushed garlic and chopped ham, boil for another 2 minutes and remove from heat.
