For a proper traditional shurpa, you always need a rich broth. And pork ribs on the bone are just perfect for this. I share a proven recipe with which you can safely begin acquaintance with this wonderful dish!
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Zira - 2 pinches
- Greenery - 50 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Hops-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the ribs into portions and fry in vegetable oil until golden.
Add the chopped onion and fry for another 4 minutes.
Add the carrot cut into medium pieces, and after another 3 minutes - pepper.
After that, add the coarsely chopped potatoes and tomatoes.
After 2 minutes, fill the shurpa with water so that it covers everything slightly.
Bring the soup to a boil and add all the spices and garlic. Cook the shurpa for 30-40 minutes on low heat.
At the end, add chopped greens and let the shurpa brew.
