I propose to diversify the usual soups with peas and beans with other legumes. For example, this version of soup with chicken, tomatoes and chickpeas will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. If you don't want to waste time soaking and cooking chickpeas, take canned.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Chickpeas - 1 bank
- Tomato paste - 1-2 tbsp.l .
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Chili pepper - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Spices and seasonings - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the chicken fillet in boiling water for about 30 minutes, remove and slice.
Add randomly chopped carrots, onions and peppers to the broth.
Peel the tomatoes and chop them too.
After 5-7 minutes, add tomatoes, tomato paste, chickpeas to the soup and return the chicken.
Boil for another 5 minutes, season and add chopped chili with garlic.
Mix well and remove the soup from the heat.
