A popular Asian snack is much healthier than the chips and crackers that are common among us. But green peas with wasabi can be difficult to find in ordinary stores. So I figured out how to cook it myself, and I'm ready to share the recipe.
Ingredients
- Green peas - 300 g
- Water - 150 ml
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.l .
- Wasabi powder - 2 tbsp.l .
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Starch - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix wasabi powder, salt and starch.
Boil the water with sugar until it completely melts, and send the peas to the syrup.
After 30-40 seconds, remove the peas with a slotted spoon, let it drain a little and roll in a dry mixture.
Spread the peas on parchment and put them in the oven at 130 degrees for half an hour.
Turn down the temperature to 90 degrees and wait another 15 minutes. Take it out and let the snack cool down.
