Like other fresh fragrant herbs, basil can be stored for the future. One way is to simply chop it and send it to the freezer. But there is another option – to roll it up in jars with olive oil. It turns out almost pesto sauce.
Ingredients
- Basil - 3 beam
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the basil in a blender with salt.
Put it in sterile jars.
Pour oil to the top, close and store in the refrigerator or in the cellar.
